Projects Manager
A project manager is a person who has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. Construction, petrochemical, architecture, information technology and many different industries that produce products and services.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
Core Competency Requirements :
- designing and applying appropriate project management standards for incorporation in the NI Gateway Review Process
- managing the production of the required deliverables
- adopting any delegation and use of project assurance roles within agreed reporting structures
- preparing and maintaining project, stage and exception plans as required
- managing project risks, including the development of contingency plans
- monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary
- applying change control and configuration management processes
- reporting through agreed lines on project progress through highlight reports and end-stage assessments
- maintaining an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact
- adopting and applying appropriate technical and quality strategies and standards
